Accord Pharmaceuticals, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Here at Accord we commissioned some training from Darren Bain, Utraining. The qualification Utraining delivered was Business Improvement Techniques.  We had identified a need for staff to have a greater working understanding of productivity and efficiency and this was why we selected Utraining as they have a strong track record delivering these types of qualifications.Utraining went to great lengths to understand our business and what we required from the training.  Darren Bain delivered lots of ‘value-adding’ elements for us including bespoke training over and above the qualification requirements. All of the staff undertaking the qualification reported positive feedback, the business is starting to feel the benefits of the project has been very successful.The staff who undertook the training created presentations and delivered these to senior management.  They were confident and assured in their newly acquired knowledge and skills.We took the participating staff out for a celebration event together with Darren and this was an excellent staff bonding session. We will certainly look to work with Utraining again and would like to extend our thanks to Darren and to South Tyneside Works who provided the funding to make the training happen.

 Aaron Khalid HSEQ Manager, Saft Ltd, River Dr, South Shields . I have worked on several different projects with Utraining. I have been impressed with the impact that this training has had on our staff. We undertook NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Business Improvement Techniques and all who attended the training achieved their goals. With their newly acquired skills, staff took the lead in actively looking for improvements that would positively impact Saft’s business. Saft now have several on-going Kaizen activities as a result of the training including waste reduction, which has a positive impact on cost and sustainability and Health and Safety which enhances staff well being and safety.All of the participants reported a positive, fun, informative and enjoyable experience.
