Course Overview
This qualification focuses on the knowledgeassociated with lean business improvement principles using practical skills to demonstrate understanding of the principles. The qualification will be achieved when the learner has successfully completed the seven mandatory units which cover contributions necessary for applying: safe team working, effective team working, workplace organisation, continuous improvement, visual management, problem solving and process flow.
The course will provide opportunities to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life, gaining the knowledge, understanding, confidence and skills needed to work effectively and progress in a career.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be aged 19 or over on 31 August 2025.

Must live in a postcode area of Gateshead, Sunderland, South Tyneside, County Durham, North Tyneside, or Northumberland.

Must have been resident in the UK for at least 3 years before starting the course.
This course enables you to gain the following qualification:
