Commercial Training Courses & Accredited Qualifications

Turn skills gaps into recognised qualifications — without starting from scratch

Our commercial training gives employers and individuals access to pre-built, accredited courses with clear outcomes and clear pricing. No design phase, no lengthy development — just book, schedule, and go. Choose from practical Lean Academy short courses, flexible online learning, or fully accredited qualification programmes. Every face-to-face course is delivered 100% in person by tutors who understand your workplace, and every programme embeds Green Circular Economy principles by default.

What is commercial training?

Commercial training covers our paid-for short courses, online courses, and accredited qualification programmes. These are standard, off-the-shelf courses with set curricula — designed, accredited, and ready to deliver. Employers can book cohorts; individuals can book individual places on scheduled courses and events. The content is pre-defined, but delivery is still flexible: we can run courses on your site, schedule around your operations, and tailor examples to your sector.

Commercial training vs. bespoke training — what's the difference?

Commercial training

  • Pre-built courses with set, accredited curricula

  • Faster to deploy — no design phase needed

  • Recognised qualifications (NOCN, EAL, IASSC)

  • Clear, published pricing

  • Bookable by any employer or individual

  • Content is fixed; delivery is flexible (location, scheduling, sector examples)

  • Includes Lean Academy short modules, online courses, and qualifications

Bespoke Training

  • Designed from scratch around your specific processes and goals

  • Collaborative design phase with your team

  • Fully customised content, examples, and outcomes

  • Ideal for unique workflows or sector-specific requirements

  • Priced per project

  • See our Bespoke Training page for more

When to choose commercial training

Commercial training is the right choice when you need:

  • Speed — a course that's ready to go, with no build phase

  • Recognised qualifications — certificates that carry weight with employees, auditors, and clients

  • CPD and accredited certification — CPD certificates for short courses and modules, accredited qualifications for full programmes

  • Clear outcomes and pricing — you know exactly what learners will achieve and what it costs

  • Flexibility on delivery, not content — you want the course on your site, on your schedule, but don't need the curriculum rewritten

  • Individual or cohort bookings — one learner or a full team, same quality

  • Online or face-to-face — self-paced online courses for flexibility, or in-person training for full engagement

If you need something built around a unique process, see our Bespoke Training page instead.

Our courses & programmes

We offer three types of commercial training: Lean Academy short modules for focused, practical skill-building; recognised qualification programmes that lead to accredited certifications; and a growing range of online courses for flexible, self-paced learning. All face-to-face training is delivered in person, quality-assured, and embeds sustainability principles throughout.

cohort and tailored delivery

How it works

For employers booking full cohorts or wanting delivery on their site, the process starts with an enquiry. Here's how it works from first contact to certification.

  • Get in touch by phone or email. Tell us which course or programme you're interested in, how many learners you have, and your preferred timing. We'll confirm availability and answer any questions.

  • We'll help you select the right course or qualification for your goals — whether that's a Lean Academy module, a short course for quick upskilling, or an accredited qualification for formal recognition.

  • We agree delivery dates, location (your site or a venue), and cohort size. For qualification programmes, we'll also confirm assessment arrangements and timelines.

Why Choose UTraining

day Lean Academy module, an online course, or a full Level 3 qualification — is built on the same principles: practical, face-to-face, workplace-relevant, and quality-assured.

Accredited Qualifications

Our qualification programmes are awarded by NOCN and EAL — nationally recognised awarding bodies. The certificates your learners earn carry weight with employers, auditors, and clients. This isn't in-house training dressed up; it's externally verified, quality-assured certification.

CPD-certified short courses

Every Lean Academy module and short course carries CPD certification. Learners receive a CPD certificate on completion — a recognised record of continuing professional development that counts towards professional body memberships, career progression, and employer compliance. Your team gets skills they can use and proof they've got them.

Faster to deploy than bespoke training

Because the curriculum is already built and accredited, there's no design phase. You book, we schedule, training starts. For employers who need capability quickly, commercial training is the fastest route from enquiry to certified learners.

100% face-to-face delivery

No webinars, no self-paced modules, no "click next to continue." Every hour of every face-to-face course is delivered in person by a qualified tutor who reads the room, adapts to your team, and makes sure the learning sticks. We believe face-to-face is how adults learn best — and our 95% completion rate backs that up. Our online courses complement this approach, extending reach and accessibility without replacing it.

Quality-assured and trusted

We hold the Matrix Standard for information, advice and guidance; Cyber Essentials Plus for data security; and Disability Confident Employer status. Our internal QA includes formative and summative verification, annual teaching observations, and regular standardisation. External quality assurance visits confirm our standards.

Green Circular Economy by default

All our provision embeds Green Circular Economy principles unless you specifically request otherwise. Sustainability isn't a bolt-on — it's part of how we design and deliver training. And we operate carbon-neutral, supporting your sustainability goals while we develop your people.

Small-team agility

We're a small team, and that's a strength. You deal directly with decision-makers, not account managers. We can tailor delivery scheduling, location, and cohort structure quickly — without committees or approval chains. Personal service, fast responses, a genuine partner approach.

Strong outcomes

95% completion and achievement rate. 85% learner satisfaction. 75% of our business comes from repeat clients. These aren't marketing numbers — they're the result of delivering training that people actually use.

Outcomes & impact

Outcomes that speak for themselves

We measure what matters — not just attendance, but completion, achievement, satisfaction, and real workplace impact. Here's what our training consistently delivers.

60%

of our learners secure jobs within 3 months

95%

achievement rate — people who start, finish and achieve

75%

Of our business comes from repeat clients

85

learner satisfaction with our programmes

These numbers reflect our face-to-face, practical approach. When learners are supported in person, engaged with real workplace examples, and assessed on genuine performance — they complete, they achieve, and they apply what they've learned. For employers, that means capability that shows up in quality, productivity, and performance.
